We are now able to confirm that we will re-open Durham Indoor Bowling Club on Monday 17th May in accordance with Government guidelines.

All Bar and Catering services will be available from this date, providing an indoor ‘table service’ as required by current restrictions.———-

The plan is that from Monday 17th May to Saturday 29th May, the Club is open for ‘Social Bowling’ only, permitting members to book to practice or play, or to participate in the Spoons sessions as set out in the Initial Programme.

(Spoons are: Weds 1 – 3 pm; Fri 10am-12 noon; Sat 10am – 12 noon and Sat 1-3pm)

(Please Noteif you have already told us you want to play Spoons, you still need to contact us again to book your place on specific sessions)———-

All sessions have reverted to 2 hours in duration, with 1 hour between each session to attend to customers and to undertake the sanitising regime.

Bookings can be made up to 6 days in advance.

In line with the previously agreed pricing policy, the Green fees for 2 hour sessions are now £4.00, and bookings for other durations will be charged ‘pro-rata’———-

Changing Rooms are only to be used for access to lockers and to change into bowling shoes. The Dress Code has been temporarily relaxed.———-

Finally – the Closing date for entry into any of the Summer Leagues is Saturday 22nd May. (This will allow final arrangements to be organised, draws to be made and Members to be informed), before the Summer League Programme starts on Monday 31st May
